Don't Hug Trees - Kiss Me!
Even in Dublin, it no longer rains. Yet Jack Macken is unfazed by climate change. His ideal plant is a cactus – a thing needing zero attention. But when Ruth Carew storms into his world with a megaphone, a vendetta, and a knack for going viral, his latte-and-laptop lifestyle takes a nosedive. His girlfriend Arena, furious at Ruth’s crusade against her wildlife crimes, orders Jack to deal with the activist before Valentine’s Day. Or Arena will expose Jack’s shady past.
Simple enough, until Jack spots Ruth protesting—naked—on Westminster Bridge. Instinct takes over. He rips off his shirt, destroying any last shred of credibility. Ruth, brazenly daubs his chest with the slogan: “My Next Shirt is Eco-Cotton.”
His next shirt? A hospital gown, jaw broken in the chaos of the London riots. Arena takes things to the next level—abducting Ruth to silence her for good. Now Jack must decide if he’s willing to wreck his lifestyle for a woman who’d probably ban his air-conditioning. Armed with a vintage car and a ragtag team of activists, he launches a last-ditch rescue. The odds? As slim as a vegan in a buckskin bikini. But Jack won’t rest until he settles the question: Can a City Boy date a climate warrior?
